About Us

Adam (Atmarama) Cook and Claudia (Ambhrini) Ross met while studying yoga in Mysore, South India.

Claudia is an Atlanta-native who began her yoga practice while studying at the Georgia Institue of Technology. She greatly appreciated the ability of yoga to calm her mind and make her feel a sense of contentment. She intensively studied with some of the most well known teachers in the USA such as Brian Kest, Jerome Mercier, John Meredith, and Cooper Saey. After seriously practicing yoga for a few years, she completed her 200 hr RYT teacher training certificate and began teaching in Atlanta soon-after.

Adam is from Melbourne, Australia and began studying yoga in 2009 when he came into contact with Vaisnava monks. His interest initially was focused on the philosophical aspect of yoga, which inspired him to travel to India to learn more. Whilst traveling India for five years, he studied Vedic philosophy extensively.

In 2011, after suffering from a serious illness, Adam began studying the Vedic system of health known as Ayurveda. Soon-after, he commenced his official training by studying directly under Dr. Shivakumara of Hitayu Ayurvedic Centre of Udupi, Karnataka. Adam excelled in the program due to his mastery of the Sanskrit language; enabling him to understand the foundational principles of Ayurveda in their original form. After his studies at Hitayu, Adam traveled to Mysore, Karnataka in order to receive his  certification from the internationally recognized Ayurvedic practitioner, Dr. Shashirekha, CK of Mysore Mandala Yoga Shala.

After their meeting in Mysore, Adam and Claudia continued their Vedic studies together. They began by studying at the Sri K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute while learning traditional yoga asanas under Srimati Saraswati Jois. After some time, they transferred to the town of Laksmipuram, where they completed an intensive yoga and pranayama teacher training course under Sri Cidananda, a disciple of B.N.S Iyengar. During their training, they studied directly under Sri B.N.S Iyengar himself (a direct disciple of Sri Tirumalai Krishnamacarya.)

Both Adam and Claudia continue their application of Vedic philosophy throughout their daily lives. They greatly enjoy imparting their knowledge to others and feel very fortunate to share this divine and powerful process with others.
